When is the best time to buy a home?
The best or right time to buy a home is completely up to you. You may want to wait until it is a buyers market (more homes available than buyers who want to purchase). Sellers may be more open to negotiating pricing with the buyers.
What should I do before buying a home?
There are a few very important things you should do but the most helpful would be to get pre-qualified for a mortgage. When you take this step the mortgage lender will be able to tell you how much you are approved for.
***When you get pre-qualified, you ARE NOT in any way obligated to that mortgage lender and you are not making any financial commitment.***
A lot of buyers start by looking at homes without knowing what they can spend. As an example, If you have been looking at $450,000 homes for a few weeks, then you decide you want to put an offer on one of those 450k homes. You meet with a lender, do all your paperwork and you find out that you are approved for $250,000. You will be disappointed that you cannot put an offer on the home you wanted and nothing in the 250k range will be able to compare to the home you wanted to buy.

Why not? A lot of homeowners are very protective of their plants inside and outside or their homes. Always ask your agent about plants and landscaping if you are buying a home.
